Judith Wolfsen began her practice in Torrance in 1978 and began specializing in all family law and probate matters upon her admission to the California State Bar. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and her Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law.

She was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California in 1980. In 1995 she received the Honorable Willlam E. MacFaden award for her services to the bench and bar from the South Bay Bar Association. She is active in the community and supports many charitable organizations.

She is a dedicated advocate for her clients at every stage of the family law proceeding from the filing of the initial papers through settlement proceedings or trial. She has extensive experience in child custody matters, as well as support, property division, pension plan allocation, complex legal issues and serves as minor's counsel when appointed.

She is sensitive to the emotionally charged and devastating experience a divorce and custody battle can be. She attempts to promote conflict resolution, when possible, to minimize the trauma on all involved; however, if aggressive representation is needed, she can also provide that.

She also understands the difficulties connected with the death or incapacity of a loved one in connection with court proceedings that deal with a decedent's property or finding the appropriate solution for an incapacitated person. She brings her legal skills and compassion to bear in these instances with sensitivity and integrity.
